Abstract
The useful solution refers to a method for extracting and recovering the compound (E)-cinnamaldehyde from cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum cassia). Using ultrasonically assisted maceration (UAE) at room temperature combined with the removal of the alcohol solvent under reduced pressure, the process completely prevents the formation of secondary impurities, cinnamaldehyde dimethyl acetal, due to thermal denaturation. The method allows for the preservation of the natural molecular structure, recovering a compound (E)-cinnamaldehyde content of 78.05%, ensuring the essential oil product maintains broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and extremely strong inhibitory efficacy (MIC 100-400 µg / ml), making it highly suitable as a high-quality raw material for the pharmaceutical and food preservation industries.
