[0039] In order to better understand the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of this specification, the technical solutions of the embodiments of this specification are described in detail below through the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. [0041] OLED display panels currently offer advantages over LCDs, such as self-luminescence, vibrant colors, and thinness. Existing OLED devices typically consist of an anode layer, a light-emitting layer, and a cathode layer. While OLEDs require a thin cathode to increase light transmittance, the thin, transparent cathode has a high sheet resistance and a significant voltage drop, leading to noticeable uneven light emission in OLED devices. To improve this uneven brightness, auxiliary electrodes are often used to increase the cathode access resistance and reduce the voltage drop. However, existing auxiliary electrodes suffer from poor electrical connection, limiting their ability to improve uneven brightness.

[0042] In view of this, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display panel, a manufacturing method, and a display device, which can improve the electrical connection stability of the auxiliary electrode and better improve the uneven light emission problem of the display panel.

[0043] In a first aspect of the present disclosure, a display panel is provided. FIG1 shows a schematic partial structural diagram of a display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG1 , the display panel includes: a substrate layer 100, a pixel defining layer 200, a light-emitting layer 300, a first electrode 400, and an auxiliary electrode 500. The pixel defining layer 200 is disposed on one side of the substrate layer 100 and has a plurality of first hollows 210. It is understood that the pixel defining layer 200 is a patterned structure, and the first hollows 210 are provided to divide pixel regions, with the pixel defining layer 200 separating adjacent pixel regions. The light-emitting layer 300 is disposed within the first hollows 210, and the orthographic projection of the light-emitting layer 300 on the substrate layer 100 covers at least a portion of the orthographic projection of the pixel defining layer 200 on the substrate layer 100. It should be noted that the light-emitting layer 300 can be deposited using an evaporation process, and can be deposited as a whole layer or partitioned according to the patterned spacing of the pixel defining layer 200. The arrangement can be based on the specific pixel structure design and is not specifically limited in the present disclosure. The light emitting layer 300 shown in FIG. 1 is provided as a whole layer, covering the side of all pixel defining layers 200 away from the substrate layer 100 .

[0044] In some embodiments, the light-emitting layer 300 can be disposed within the first hollow 210 and partially cover the edge of the pixel-defining layer 200. A first electrode 400 is disposed on the side of the light-emitting layer 300 away from the substrate layer 100. An auxiliary electrode 500 is disposed between the pixel-defining layer 200 and the first electrode 400. The auxiliary electrode 500 includes a plurality of expanded conductive particles 510, which penetrate the light-emitting layer 300 in the thickness direction H and are electrically connected to the first electrode 400. The auxiliary electrode 500 is electrically connected to the first electrode 400 via the expanded conductive particles 510. The connection of the auxiliary electrode 500 to the first electrode 400 reduces the voltage drop across the first electrode 400. The light-emitting layer 300 can emit light driven by the first electrode 400. Since the first electrode 400 is disposed across the entire surface, the voltage drop across the first electrode 400 is reduced, thereby improving the uniformity of light emission from the light-emitting layer 300 across all pixels of the display panel and enhancing the display quality.

[0045] It should be noted that existing OLED devices are usually composed of an anode layer, a light-emitting layer, and a cathode layer. OLEDs require a thin cathode to increase light transmittance, but thin transparent cathodes have a large square resistance and severe IR Drop (voltage drop), resulting in significant uneven light emission in OLED devices. To improve the uneven brightness of the device, an auxiliary electrode is usually added that is connected to the transparent cathode and to each other. The auxiliary electrode is generally composed of a metal with low resistivity and is relatively thick. When power is applied, the voltage across the cathode panel is small, and brightness uniformity is improved. However, since the auxiliary electrode is opaque, it cannot be placed directly above the light-emitting layer after adding it. In the case where the auxiliary electrode is provided on the array substrate, the cover plate and the OLED substrate are pressed together under vacuum, and the conductive layer on the spacer contacts the cathode under pressure and deforms. The deformation of the spacer may cause the conductive layer to break, and there is a risk of disconnection between the auxiliary electrode and the cathode. Therefore, the pressing force must be precisely controlled. In some embodiments, there is a risk of poor contact due to the surface contact between the conductive layer on the spacer and the cathode. This solution is not compatible with packaging processes such as CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) and is difficult to block water and oxygen. In the case where the auxiliary electrode is provided on the color filter substrate, it is difficult to connect the cathode to the auxiliary electrode in an OLED device using an open mask. Although there is a method of removing the organic material layer covering the auxiliary electrode by laser ablation, this method requires high-precision laser equipment, and the process cost and time cost are too high, making actual mass production difficult.

[0046] Based on the above, according to the display panel of the embodiment of the present disclosure, an auxiliary electrode 500 is provided between the pixel defining layer 200 and the first electrode 400. The auxiliary electrode 500 includes expanded conductive particles 510. The auxiliary electrode 500 is electrically connected to the first electrode 400 through the expanded conductive particles 510 through the light-emitting layer 300. The auxiliary electrode 500 is connected to the first electrode 400, which can reduce the IRDrop of the first electrode 400 after receiving a voltage signal. When driven by a voltage signal with a small voltage drop on the first electrode 400, the light-emitting layer 300 has improved light uniformity, thereby improving the display brightness uniformity of the display panel and enhancing the display effect of the display panel. The auxiliary electrode 500 is set between the pixel defining layer 200 and the first electrode 400, and the expanded conductive particles 510 are used to pass through the light-emitting layer 300 to electrically connect with the first electrode 400. This eliminates the need for press-fit deformation for electrical connection, and can avoid electrode breakage caused by press-fit. The electrical connection between the expanded conductive particles 510 and the first electrode 400 is more reliable, the contact connection is more secure, and there is no need to use an additional process to ablate the light-emitting layer, which will not increase production costs.

[0047] Figure 2 illustrates a schematic partial structure of another display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, as shown in Figure 2 , the light-emitting layer includes a second hollow 310, through which expanded conductive particles 510 are electrically connected to the first electrode 400. The orthographic projections of the expanded conductive particles 510 on the substrate layer 100 do not overlap with the edges of the orthographic projections of the second hollow 310 on the substrate layer. It will be appreciated that the lack of contact between the expanded conductive particles 510 and the light-emitting layer 300 prevents electrical signals from the auxiliary electrode 500 from interfering with the normal light emission of the light-emitting layer 300.

[0048] In some embodiments, the expanded conductive particles 510 expand upon heat to generate tip discharge. The tip discharge of the expanded conductive particles 510 is used to ablate the light-emitting layer 300 in contact with the tip, thereby forming a second hollow 310 in the light-emitting layer 300. That is, the tip discharge ablates the second hollow 310 in the light-emitting layer 300. The expanded conductive particles 510 that expand upon heat are connected to the first electrode 400 by passing through the second hollow 310.

[0049] In some embodiments, during the manufacturing process of a display panel, a pixel defining layer 200, an auxiliary electrode 500, a light-emitting layer 300, and a first electrode 400 can be sequentially manufactured, with the light-emitting layer 300 covering the auxiliary electrode 500. The substrate on which the first electrode 400 is provided is placed in a plasma environment for a plasma treatment process. Under the action of the plasma, the expanded conductive particles 510 expand due to heat, and the tips of the expanded conductive particles 510 generate tip discharge. The tip discharge ablates the light-emitting layer 300 that contacts the expanded conductive particles 510, ablating the contacted light-emitting layer 300 and forming a second hollow 310 in the light-emitting layer 300. The expanded conductive particles 510 that expand due to heat pass through the second hollow 310 and are electrically connected to the first electrode 400.

[0050] In some embodiments, the expanded conductive particles 510 may be expanded graphite balls, which have good electrical conductivity, can expand when heated, and can generate tip discharge in a plasma environment.

[0051] Figure 3 shows a schematic partial structural diagram of another display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, as shown in Figure 3 , the orthographic projection of the auxiliary electrode 500 on the substrate layer 100 falls within the orthographic projection of the pixel defining layer 200 on the substrate layer 100; the orthographic projection of the first electrode 400 on the substrate layer 100 covers the orthographic projection of the auxiliary electrode 500 on the substrate layer 100. The orthographic projection of the auxiliary electrode 500 on the substrate layer 100 surrounds the orthographic projection of the first hollow 210 on the substrate layer 100.

[0052] In some embodiments, FIG4 illustrates a partial schematic diagram of the positional relationship between an auxiliary electrode and a pixel-defining layer according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG4 , the boundary of the pixel-defining layer 200 is indicated by a dashed line. It should be noted that for clarity, the structural dimensions and proportions illustrated in all figures provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are schematic and do not constitute specific limitations of the present disclosure.

[0053] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 3 and 4 , the pixel defining layer 200 is arranged in a grid pattern to define a plurality of pixel regions, and the auxiliary electrodes 500 are arranged in a grid pattern corresponding to the grid pattern of the pixel defining layer 200. The grid-like auxiliary electrode 500 can increase the coverage area of the auxiliary electrode 500 and improve the IR Drop improvement of the auxiliary electrode 500 on the first electrode.

[0054] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 , auxiliary electrodes 500 are only provided corresponding to a portion of the pixel defining layer 200 , and the distribution of the auxiliary electrodes 500 can be set according to a specific voltage drop improvement range, which is not specifically limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0055] In some embodiments, FIG5 shows a schematic partial structural diagram of another display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG5 , the pixel defining layer 200 is provided with a groove 220, and the auxiliary electrode 500 is provided in the groove 220, and the groove 220 surrounds the first hollow 210. The auxiliary electrode 500 includes a first conductive layer 520 and a second conductive layer 530, and the second conductive layer 530 is filled between a plurality of expanded conductive particles 510, and the first conductive layer 520 is provided between the pixel defining layer 200 and the expanded conductive particles 510. The provision of the groove 220 can ensure that the provision of the auxiliary electrode 500 does not affect the film flatness of the first electrode 400, and can improve the stability of the connection between the auxiliary electrode 500 and the first electrode 400.

[0056] In some embodiments, during the process of preparing the auxiliary electrode 500, a grid-shaped first conductive layer 520 may be first prepared, a plurality of expanded conductive particles 510 may be disposed on the surface of the first conductive layer 520, and then the second conductive layer 530 may be filled between the expanded conductive particles 510. In other embodiments, the second conductive layer 530 may be made of a conductive adhesive material to secure the expanded conductive particles 510 and prevent them from shifting, thereby preventing them from moving outside the area where the first conductive layer 520 is located and affecting normal light emission.

[0057] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG5 , the expanded conductive particles 510 thermally expand after the plasma treatment process, and the tips of the expanded conductive particles 510 extend beyond the surface of the second conductive layer 530. Since the surface of the second conductive layer 530, which is farther from the first conductive layer 520, extends beyond the plane where the opening of the groove 220 is located, the overall thickness of the auxiliary electrode 500 is greater than the depth of the groove 220, thereby ensuring a more stable electrical connection between the auxiliary electrode 500 and the first electrode 400.

[0058] In some embodiments, Figure 6 shows a schematic partial structural diagram of a display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 6, the sum of the thicknesses of the second conductive layer 530 and the first conductive layer 520 is equal to the depth of the groove 220. That is, the surface of the second conductive layer 530 away from the first conductive layer 520 is flush with the plane of the opening of the groove 220, and the tips of the expanded conductive particles 510 extend beyond the opening of the groove 220.

[0059] In some embodiments, FIG7 shows a schematic partial structural diagram of another display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG7 , the sum of the thicknesses of the second conductive layer 530 and the first conductive layer 520 is less than the depth of the groove 220. That is, the surface of the second conductive layer 530 away from the first conductive layer 520 does not extend beyond the plane of the opening of the groove 220. The tip of the expanded conductive particle 510 is flush with the plane of the opening of the groove 220. In this case, the thickness of the auxiliary electrode 500 can be considered equal to the depth of the groove 220.

[0060] As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 , the thickness of the auxiliary electrode 500 is greater than the depth of the groove 220 .

[0061] In some embodiments, the auxiliary electrode 500 is connected in parallel with the first electrode 400. When the auxiliary electrode 500 is connected in parallel with the first electrode 400, the resistance is reduced, which can reduce IR Drop.

[0062] In some embodiments, FIG8 shows a schematic diagram of signal connections between a first electrode and an auxiliary electrode according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG8 , the first electrode 400 and the first conductive layer 520 are respectively electrically connected to the same cathode signal line 401. The first conductive layer 520 is illustrated by a dotted line in FIG8 . The first electrode 400 can serve as the cathode of the display panel, and the cathode signal line 401 is used to transmit the cathode signal. The first electrode 400 and the first conductive layer 520 are both electrically connected to the same cathode signal line 401, which can achieve parallel connection of the auxiliary electrode 500 and the first electrode 400.

[0063] In some embodiments, FIG9 shows another schematic diagram of signal connections between the first electrode and the auxiliary electrode according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG9 , the first electrode 400 is electrically connected to the cathode signal line 401, and the first conductive layer 520 is electrically connected to the auxiliary signal line 501. The cathode signal line 401 and the auxiliary signal line 501 are both used to transmit cathode signals, thereby enabling the auxiliary electrode 500 to be connected in parallel with the first electrode 400.

[0064] In some embodiments, FIG10 shows a schematic partial structural diagram of another display panel according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG10 , the display panel further includes: a second electrode 600 and a driving backplane 101, wherein the second electrode 600 is disposed between the substrate layer 100 and the pixel defining layer 200, and the driving backplane 101 is disposed between the substrate layer 100 and the second electrode 600. The driving backplane 101 includes a driving device, which includes a gate, an active layer p, a drain d, and a source s. The source s is electrically connected to the second electrode 600, and the drain d is used to connect to the driving circuit. In some embodiments, the first electrode 400 can serve as a cathode, and the second electrode 600 can serve as an anode.

[0065] In some embodiments, as shown in Figure 10, the light-emitting layer 300 may include a red light-emitting material layer R, a green light-emitting material layer G and a blue light-emitting material layer B. Different light-emitting material layers can be set in different pixel areas to form sub-pixels of different colors, that is, different light-emitting material layers are set in different first hollows 210.

[0066] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG10 , the orthographic projection of the first hollow 210 on the substrate layer 100 falls within the orthographic projection of the second electrode 600 on the substrate layer 100; the orthographic projection of the second electrode 600 on the substrate layer 100 does not overlap with the orthographic projection of the auxiliary electrode 500 on the substrate layer 100. The staggered arrangement of the second electrode 600 and the auxiliary electrode 500 can avoid signal interference between the anode signal and the cathode signal connected to the auxiliary electrode, thereby improving signal driving stability.

[0067] In some embodiments, the light-emitting layer 300 includes at least two light-emitting material layers for emitting light of different colors.
