Array comprising at least two unit parts and at least two container parts for forming an apparatus for negative-pressure wound therapy

Abstract

The present invention relates to an array (2) comprising at least two unit parts (4a, 4b) and at least two, in particular three, container parts (6a, 6b, 6c); it being possible for each unit part (4a, 4b) to be physically coupled to and to be brought into operative connection with each container part (6a, 6b, 6c) to form an apparatus (8) for negative-pressure wound therapy on a human or animal body, having a negative-pressure-generating device (10) which is received in the relevant unit part (4a, 4b), and having a container (12), preferably a single-use container (129), which can be disposed of after use, for receiving fluids, in particular wound secretions, suctioned from a wound, which container is formed by the relevant container part (6a, 6b, 6c), and having a connector (14) for a suction line (16) leading to the wound; the relevant unit parts (4a, 4b) and the relevant container parts (6a, 6b, 6c) being coupleable to one another and detachable from one another manually and without tools and comprising mutually physically interacting interfaces (18, 20) for negative-pressure communication; a stand face (46) of the apparatus (8) being formed by the container part (6a, 6b, 6c) when the apparatus (8) is used as intended; and the unit parts (4a, 4b) differing from one another in terms of at least one of the following properties, specifically from the group consisting of: technical type of the negative-pressure-generating device; energy supply to the negative-pressure-generating device; electrical power input of the negative-pressure-generating device; achievable negative pressure or negative-pressure range of the negative-pressure-generating device; operating parameters and operating modes of the negative-pressure-generating device; design of a control device for the negative-pressure-generating device; interactivity of the negative-pressure-generating device and its control device; geometric dimensions of the unit parts; and the container parts (6a, 6b, 6c) differing from one another in terms of at least one of the following properties, specifically from the group consisting of: geometric dimensions and geometric shape of the container parts; receiving volumes of the container parts; size and design of a coupling face or coupling surface; material of the container parts; transparency of the container parts.
