Anti-freezing, fire-resistant and rodent-resistant optical-fiber cable

Abstract

An anti-freezing, fire-resistant and rodent-resistant optical-fiber cable, comprising: a cable core, an energy storage thermal-insulation layer (63), an anti-freezing layer (64), an armor layer (9), and an outer sheath (10) which are successively arranged from the inside to the outside. The cable core comprises multiple optical units which are circumferentially arranged, and a fire-resistant layer (3) is provided on the periphery of each optical unit. The armor layer (9) comprises multiple glass fiber-reinforced plastic rods which are circumferentially arranged, and the multiple glass fiber-reinforced plastic rods are disposed on the inner side of the outer sheath (10). The anti-freezing layer (64) comprises an anti-freezing base (65) and capsules A and B which are disposed inside the anti-freezing base (65) and are circumferentially arranged, and the capsules A and B are configured to be capable of undergoing a chemical reaction and releasing heat under preset conditions. The energy storage thermal-insulation layer (63) is configured to be capable of storing thermal energy. The present invention can simultaneously have the anti-freezing, fire-resistant and rodent-resistant functions; and when the external ambient temperature suddenly rises or drops, the internal temperature of an optical-fiber cable can be maintained, avoiding the problem of unstable optical signal transmission.
