Abstract

Provided are a multi-access or multi-connectivity management method, an apparatus, a core network function, and a terminal. The method comprises: a core network function executing a first operation, the first operation comprising sending a first configuration to a first access network device, and / or receiving first information sent by the first access network device and executing a second operation on the basis of the first information; and the second operation comprising at least one of the following: sending a second configuration to a terminal, sending to the first access network device first instruction information used for instructing the first access network device to send the second configuration to the terminal, and sending to the first access network device second instruction information used for instructing release of a first connection or release of a first PDU session, the first connection being an established connection, the first PDU session being an established PDU session, the first configuration being used for the first access network device to send the second configuration to the terminal or send the first information to the core network function, and the second configuration being used for assisting the terminal in establishing a second connection or a second PDU session with a second access network device.
