Abstract

The present application applies to the technical field of terminal control, and relates in particular to a power consumption control method and system, an apparatus, and a medium. The method comprises: obtaining a state of a device to be controlled, wherein the state of the device comprises allowing dark screen sleep and not allowing dark screen sleep; if the device allows dark screen sleep, in response to a sleep instruction for the device, switching the device to a dark screen sleep state; and if the device does not allow dark screen sleep, in response to a sleep instruction for the device, switching the device to a screen-off sleep state. In the present application, the device to be controlled is switched to the dark screen sleep state or the screen-off sleep state on the basis of the function and state that can be supported by the device, thereby implementing power consumption control, and prolonging the operational hours of the device.
