Description

DIESEL AND GASOLINE PURIFIERTECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure generally relates to diesel and gasoline purification devices and methods, and more particularly to a device for purifying diesel and gasoline through four stages which are swirling, heating, sedimentation, and purification, and a method of purifying diesel and gasoline using the same.BACKGROUND

[0002] The contaminations in diesel and gasoline lead to deteriorate the performance of the internal combustion engines, and shorten the operational lifetime of the diesel / gasoline supplying system’s components specially the diesel / gasoline injectors and the diesel / gasoline pump. Therefore, the majority of vehicle manufacturing companies integrate a purifying system that usually depends on setting primary and secondary filters configured to separate the suspended impurities in diesel and gasoline, such filters need to be periodically maintained and changed after estimated lifetime for those filters. However, these filters are usually not able to provide sufficient protection for the diesel / gasoline supplying system since some moisture and fine melted impurities cannot be separated by such filters. For these reasons, many diesel and gasoline purifying and filtering devices include moving parts and a heater element to provide diesel and gasoline with additional kinetic and thermal energies help those filters to separate such impurities. Sometimes, the diesel and gasoline purifying devices include melting a wax into the diesel and gasoline as an additive in cold operation conditions to prevent clotting of the diesel / gasoline and limit clogging of the diesel and gasoline pipelines to an engine. This results in enhancing the combustion efficiency in the engine.

[0003] Many attempts in the prior art were made to provide diesel and gasoline purifying devices and methods. For instance, a commercially available diesel and gasoline purification device purifies diesel / gasoline through three stages, wherein diesel / gasoline tangentially enters the purifier and flows downward in a circular vortexmovement through an internal baffle system entering into a lower chamber of the purifier in the first stage of these stages, then diesel and gasoline passes through three perforated baffle plates in the second stage to stop any particulates and attract, by way of coalescence, any water droplets still remaining, and in the third stage, diesel / gasoline passes through the coalescing media to assure that any small water droplets or particulates will be coalesced out of diesel / gasoline and only the clean diesel / gasoline moves upward to an outlet of the purifier.SUMMARY
