Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for encrypting an update package by using a CTR mode. An aspect of the present disclosure provides a method for encrypting an update package by using a CTR mode, the method being performed by a computing device including at least one processor and comprising the steps of: receiving an update package from a vehicle; generating an arbitrary initial vector (IV); encrypting the update package to have a preset bit length by using the generated initial vector; and performing the step of encrypting until the encrypted update package is completely transmitted.
