The method is executed by an electronic device, the electronic device comprises a first receiver and a main transceiver, the working energy consumption of the first receiver is less than that of the main transceiver, and the method comprises: receiving first information by means of the first receiver, wherein the first information is used for communication between the electronic device and a wireless network. According to the method, the first information is received by means of the first receiver, so that the main transceiver having high power consumption is prevented from receiving the first information, and after being awakened, the main transceiver does not need to read the first information from other frames, helping the electronic device to quickly establish a connection with the wireless network.
