Battery system

Abstract

A battery system according to a first embodiment comprises a battery block in which a plurality of parallel units are connected in series. In the parallel units: a plurality of battery cells are connected in parallel by means of a lead plate; the lead plate includes an upper lead plate and a lower lead plate; the upper lead plate and the lower lead plate are connected respectively to upper and lower electrodes of each battery cell; and the lead plate is provided with a connection part with a bus bar at one end. In the parallel units, an upper connection part provided on the upper lead plate is arranged at one end, and a lower connection part provided on the lower lead plate is arranged at the other end. The bus bar is connected to the upper connection part and the lower connection part of an adjacent parallel unit to form a series connection. In the battery block, adjacent parallel units are connected in series by bus bars arranged on one surface on the opposite side alternately, by means of bus bars arranged alternately at the opposite ends of the parallel units.
