Abstract

The present invention belongs to the technical field of cloud computing. Disclosed are a service formation method and system in a multi-cloud environment. The method comprises: acquiring a service description language, and issuing a service requirement on the basis of the service description language; on the basis of mapping relationships between service description languages and resource formation templates, calling a resource formation template corresponding to the service description language; on the basis of mapping relationships between the resource formation templates and atomic operations, calling a plurality of atomic operations corresponding to the resource formation template, and combining the plurality of atomic operations to form an automatic service scheme; and by means of northbound interfaces of corresponding APIs, calling basic resources corresponding to the atomic operations, so as to execute the automatic service scheme. Uniform standards can be formulated for service formation and resource formation, and basic resources provided by different cloud computing vendors are called by means of northbound interfaces of APIs corresponding to atomic operations, thereby implementing interoperable calling of the basic resources provided by different cloud computing vendors, and thus reducing the maintenance workload.
