Abstract

This imaging system comprises: an imaging device that captures an image of a mobile object; and a control device that is connected to the imaging device and has a communication circuit and an arithmetic circuit. The arithmetic circuit acquires video data including a plurality of frames captured by the imaging device and the imaging time of each of the plurality of frames at a first timing, acquires imaging direction data including an imaging direction acquired in synchronization with each of the plurality of frames by the imaging device, and an imaging time at a second timing different from the first timing, finds, from the plurality of frames of the video data, the movement amount of the mobile object between imaging of the plurality of frames, finds, from the imaging direction data, the movement amount of the imaging direction acquired in synchronization with each of the plurality of frames, and transmits, to the imaging device, a control signal for controlling the imaging direction according to the movement of the mobile object in accordance with the movement amount of the mobile object and the movement amount of the imaging direction.
