Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a method performed by an electronic device may comprise the steps of: acquiring a first channel measurement result, based on a bandwidth having a different channel bandwidth than Bluetooth low energy (BLE), at a first point in time; identifying a first channel corresponding to the channel bandwidth of the BLE as a transmission channel on the basis of the first channel measurement result; determining the channel quality of the first channel on the basis of the channel measurement of the first channel; and maintaining the first channel as the transmission channel when the channel quality of the first channel is determined to be a category regarding channel maintenance at a second point in time coming a predetermined period of time after the first point in time or changing a second channel different from the first channel to the transmission channel when the channel quality of the first channel is determined to be a category regarding channel change.
