Abstract

Disclosed are a method by which a first relay user equipment (UE) performs communication in a wireless communication system according to various embodiments and an apparatus therefor. Disclosed are the method and the apparatus therefor, the method comprising the steps of: the first relay UE establishing a first connection with a remote UE to perform a UE-to-network (U2N) relay operation; receiving a paging request message including first information for requesting monitoring of paging of the remote UE through the first connection; and forwarding the paging request message through a second connection established with a second relay UE.
