AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Current technologies face challenges in terraforming celestial bodies like Mars due to insufficient resources and the need for drastic alterations in atmospheric conditions, with existing methods being inefficient or posing risks to existing settlements.

Method used

A method involving the transportation of atmospheric gases from celestial bodies with dense atmospheres, such as Venus, in solid form to Mars, where they are regasified to create a more Earth-like atmosphere, utilizing a multi-stage process involving resource collection, transportation, and degasification.

Benefits of technology

This method allows for precise control over the composition and distribution of the atmosphere on terraformed planets, minimizing risks to existing settlements and providing a sustainable approach to creating habitable conditions.

Abstract

The object of the invention is a method of terraforming rocky celestial bodies, using celestial bodies with atmospheres, gaseous celestial bodies, gaseous planets, exoplanets, gas giants, exoplanets, supergiant planets, hot Jupiter planets or super-Earth type planets with atmospheres, i.e. all celestial bodies having gas resources that can be transported. 1. The method of terraforming rocky celestial bodies, using celestial bodies with an atmosphere notable in that it includes stages: a. the optimal altitude of the celestial body with an atmosphere at which conditions are optimal for the operation of the station is established; b. a station is placed that has the ability to collect and send resources into orbit around the planet; c. resources are collected at the station in permanent form; d. resources are sent into orbit around the planet; e. resources are transported in the direction of a rocky celestial body; f. on the surface of a rocky celestial body, the process of regasification (sublimation) of resources is carried out.
