Abstract
Description
Artificial stone composition, preparation method thereof and application thereof Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of materials, and in particular to an artificial stone composition, a preparation method thereof, and applications thereof. Background Art
[0002] Engineered stone products, often composed primarily of quartz, offer advantages over natural stone products, such as lower porosity, greater durability, and similar aesthetic qualities. They are widely used in countertops, flooring, furniture surfaces, architectural decorative panels, and wall tiles. However, engineered stone products suffer from the following drawbacks: First, their stability is affected by factors such as light, temperature, water, and bacteria. These factors include yellowing due to UV radiation, fracture due to temperature fluctuations, slab cracking due to water penetration or accumulation, and bacterial corrosion. Second, the production of quartz slabs is prone to dust and noise pollution, which impacts operator health and increases environmental remediation costs. Third, the dwindling availability of quartz sand resources limits their use. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop stable artificial stone slabs to meet market demand.

[0136] (2) passing the homogeneous mixture obtained in step (1) through a vacuum high-frequency vibration plate and vibrating and compressing it under a vacuum of about -0.1 MPa for 10 minutes to obtain a compressed product;
[0137] (3) The compressed product obtained in step (2) is sent to a curing furnace and heated at 100° C. for 40 minutes to be cured.
[0138] The method of the present invention was used to test the artificial stone board prepared in Comparative Example 1. The results showed that the UV resistance level was 4, the crack resistance level was such that cracks appeared after 10 cycles, the antibacterial rate was 8.3%, and the surface drip test result showed that water spread on the board surface.
[0139] Test Example 1: Stability Study of the Artificial Stone Plate of the Present Invention
[0140] The artificial stone slabs prepared in Examples 1-4 were placed outdoors, and their color changes and cracks were observed and recorded every day. The colors were normal and there were no cracks within 5 years.
[0141] The above description of the specific embodiments of the present invention does not limit the present invention. Those skilled in the art can make various changes or modifications based on the present invention. As long as they do not depart from the spirit of the present invention, they should fall within the scope of protection of the claims of the present invention.
