Abstract
The present application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receiving from a network device first control information and first data, the first control information being used to schedule the first data. The first control information comprises second information and first information, the second information and the first information being used to indicate that the first data is newly transmitted data or retransmitted data, and indication means of the second information and the first information being different. The terminal device processes the first data based on the first control information. Based on the described method, the terminal device can determine, based on the two types of indication information, whether received data is newly transmitted data or retransmitted data, and based on the determination result, perform corresponding processing on the data; by means of cross comparison of two indication means, it can be determined whether there is missed detection data, improving the accuracy of data type determination and the reliability of data transmission.
