Abstract

This refrigerator comprises: a main body; a storage compartment provided in the main body; a temperature sensor that senses the internal temperature of the storage compartment; a cold air supply device that comprises a compressor and supplies cold air to the storage compartment; and a control unit. The control unit may operate the compressor at a first RPM, determine a second RPM for the compressor on the basis of the internal temperature of the storage compartment, and control the RPM of the compressor on the basis of RPM difference between the first RPM and the second RPM.
