Abstract

A method performed by a terminal according to at least one of examples disclosed in the present specification may comprise: receiving configuration information related to a non-terrestrial network (NTN) via network signaling; and determining a timing advance (TA) value for an uplink of the NTN on the basis of the configuration information, wherein the terminal determines the TA value on the basis of a terminal-specific TA parameter for a link between a non-terrestrial node and the terminal, and wherein, on the basis that a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is not supported or GNSS performance falls below a threshold value, the terminal configures the terminal-specific TA parameter as 0 and then determines the TA value on the basis of a TA offset value included in the configuration information.
