[0059] DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0060] Aspects of the present disclosure will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings. The apparatus and method disclosed herein can, however, be realized in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the aspects set forth herein. Like numbers in the drawings refer to like elements throughout.

[0061] The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular aspects of the disclosure only and is not intended to limit the invention. As used herein, the singular forms "a", "an" and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

[0062] Some of the example embodiments presented herein are directed towards a method for capturing an image of a first wireless communication equipment, UE1, by a second wireless communication equipment, UE2. As part of the development of the example embodiments presented herein, a problem will first be identified and discussed.

[0063] A selfie is a self-portrait photograph taken by an individual using a smartphone or digital camera, typically at arm's length or with the help of a selfie stick. The term "selfie" is a combination of "self" and "portrait," emphasizing that it is a self-captured image. Selfies have become incredibly popular in recent years, especially with the widespread use of smartphones and social media platforms.

[0064] In this disclosure a stereo image refers to a visual representation that conveys a sense of three- dimensional depth by presenting two slightly offset 2D images to each eye. This technique mimics the way humans perceive depth in the real world through binocular vision. The brain processes the differences between the images seen by the left and right eyes, creating a perception of depth and allowing us to gauge distances. In the context of photography or computer graphics, creating a stereo image typically involves capturing or rendering two slightly different perspectives of the same scene. These two images are then presented separately to each eye, usually using special glasses with lenses that filter the images or by using other methods like autostereograms.

[0065] The present inventors realized that the problem of obtaining a selfie of a user wearing an augmented reality, AR, device such as an AR headset aka AR glasses may be solved by utilizing existing technology having image sensors in the surroundings of the person, such as for example other wireless equipment either carried by other users or by a UAV, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, is a type of aircraft that operates without a human pilot on board. UAVs are also commonly known as drones. These vehicles are designed to fly autonomously or be remotely controlled by a human operator.

[0066] Figure 1 shows a scenario, generally designated 100, in which a user A wearing an AR headset

[0067] 102 is interested in having a selfie taken of him or her. The AR headset 102 is an example of a first wireless communication equipment, UE1, further discussed below with reference made to Figure 5.

[0068] In Figure 2 a flowchart illustrating a method, generally designated 200, of a first wireless communication equipment UE1, 102 for obtaining an image of the user of the first wireless communication equipment UE1 captured by a second wireless communication equipment, UE2103,104,105 having an image sensor in a wireless communication network 100 is depicted.

[0069] The method 200 comprises:

The IC-P may also specify the number of images to be taken from different views, such as images of the user from the front, from the back or from the side. This number may then be decreased upon receiving pictures from the different views. This way part of the request is fulfilled.

[0071] S220: Based on the IC-P specified, activating an image capture request, IC-REQ, for obtaining the image of the user of the first wireless communication equipment UE1.

[0072] S230: Transmitting the IC-REQ.

[0073] S240: Receiving and decrypting S240) an encrypted image of the first UE from the second wireless communication equipment UE2second wireless communication equipment UE2.

[0074] Optionally, the method 200 further comprises a step of S250 displaying the decrypted image on a display of the first wireless communication equipment UE1. Here, the decrypted image may be stored locally on the first wireless communication equipment UE1 or on a cloud storage.

[0075] Optionally, the method 200, may further comprise the steps of:

[0076] S260: updating the IC-REQ if at least one of the IC-P are fulfilled.
