Abstract
Description
[0001] BIDET RESERVOIR WITH ULTRAVIOLET SOURCE
[0002] Subject of the Invention
[0003] The invention relates to a bidet reservoir wherein the undesirable organisms inside the bidet reservoir, in which the water to be used for the purpose of cleansing is stored, are eliminated owing to the ultraviolet source available in said bidet reservoir.
[0004] State of the Art
[0005] The water to be used for the purpose of cleansing is provided for use with the help of various bidet apparatus fitted on the toilets. With the advancing technology, various technological properties have been conferred to the bidet apparatus. Today, the bidet systems providing different types of washing according to the gender, the moveable bidet systems, and the bidet systems with the drying feature have started to be used. In the conventional systems, the bidet apparatus is directly connected to the clean water installation and the water in the installation is directly provided for use. Providing the bidet water for use by heating the same in order to offer a more comfortable use for the users is among the practices recently preferred.
[0006] The bidet water, which is to be provided to the user at a predefined temperature, is heated by a heater. The heated water is stored inside a bidet reservoir and is delivered to the user when needed. The humidity in the environment and the water temperature may cause some organisms to grow inside the bidet reservoir. When the user desires to use the water inside the bidet reservoir, said water is delivered to the user along with the organisms it contains. In order to preclude this undesirable situation, it is required to clean and disinfect the reservoir at certain intervals. However, the position where the reservoir is located makes it difficult to disinfect the same at the desired intervals. Object of the Invention
[0007] An object of the invention is to develop a bidet reservoir, which has at least one ultraviolet source in order to eliminate the undesirable organisms inside said bidet reservoir.
[0008] Another object of the invention is to develop a bidet reservoir, which has at least one ultraviolet-C source in order to eliminate the undesirable organisms inside said bidet reservoir.
[0009] Another object of the invention is to develop a bidet reservoir, in which the water stored for use in the cleansing is provided to the user after being disinfected by means of the ultraviolet-C source prior to the use.

[0018] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0019] The invention relates to a bidet reservoir (1) wherein the undesirable organisms inside said bidet reservoir (1), in which the water to be used for the purpose of cleansing is stored, are eliminated owing to the ultraviolet source (2) available in said bidet reservoir (1).
[0020] The bidet reservoir (1) according to the invention is a bidet reservoir (1), which comprises at least one ultraviolet source (2), more specifically, at least one ultraviolet source (2) with the feature of delivering ultraviolet-C rays, said ultraviolet source (2) enabling the undesirable organisms inside the water and said bidet reservoir (1) to be eliminated by delivering ultraviolet-C rays to the bidet reservoir interior (11) and the water inside the same.
[0021] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ultraviolet source (2) is an ultraviolet source (2), which is resistant to moisture and water. In said embodiment, the ultraviolet source (2) is positioned on the bidet reservoir (1) in such a way that the rays emitted by said ultraviolet source (2) are able to reach the water inside said bidet reservoir (1). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ultraviolet source (2) is positioned into the bidet reservoir interior (11).
[0022] A preferred embodiment of the invention has at least one control unit, which enables the ultraviolet source (2) to be controlled. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said control unit is a control unit, which at the same time controls the delivery of the water inside the bidet reservoir (1) via the bidet nozzle in order to be used. The control unit controls when the ultraviolet source (2) is to become active and how long said ultraviolet source (2) is to remain active. In this way, it is made possible to eliminate the undesirable organisms in the water inside the bidet reservoir (1) before said water is provided to the user.
[0023] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the control unit enables the ultraviolet source (2) to be activated in case the presence of a user is detected in the environment. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the activated ultraviolet source (2) is automatically deactivated after remaining active for a duration that is proportional to the interior volume of the bidet reservoir (1) and to the power of said ultraviolet source (2), more particularly, for a duration that is sufficient to eliminate the organisms inside the bidet reservoir (1) and the water.
[0024] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the control unit enables the growth of the organisms inside the bidet reservoir (1) to be inhibited by activating and deactivating the ultraviolet source (2) at certain intervals, in a manner independent from the presence of a user.
[0025] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ultraviolet source (2) is a light emitting diode that provides ultraviolet-C rays.
[0026] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the bidet reservoir (1) including thereon the ultraviolet source (2) is a bidet reservoir (1), which is suitable for being positioned into the bidet reservoir housing (3) located on the toilet and in which the water to be used for the purpose of cleansing is stored; in other words, said bidet reservoir (1) is not a reservoir for storing the water to be used for the purpose of flushing the toilet.
