Abstract

This encoding device acquires a network constituting a three-dimensional data generation model and a latent code set for a time corresponding to the network (S1601), and generates a bit stream including the acquired network and metadata including the acquired latent code (S1602). The network includes metadata identification information indicating metadata including a latent code corresponding to the network. Accordingly, since the network includes the metadata identification information indicating the metadata including the latent code corresponding to the network, a decoding device that acquires the bit stream can identify the metadata including the latent code corresponding to the network on the basis of the metadata identification information. Thus, the decoding device can output appropriate information on the basis of the network and the latent code.
