Abstract
The present invention is for efficiently dissipating heat from switching elements in an inverter circuit. This inverter device comprises: a cylindrical case 20; a three-phase output inverter circuit 11 disposed inside the case 20 and including a plurality of switching elements; and a control board 51 which is disposed inside the case 20 and which controls the switching on / off of the switching elements, wherein the inverter circuit 11 has three power modules 30, each of the power modules 30 has a switching element, and the three power modules 30 are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the case 20 at mutually different positions in the circumferential direction around a central axis J of the case 20.
