Description

Contact lens product TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to a contact lens, and in particular, to a contact lens product. BACKGROUND

[0002] When a contact lens and a storage solution are sealed in a box of a conventional contact lens product, the contact lens and air bubbles coexist in the box, so that the contact lens is easily exposed to the air bubbles (e.g., the air bubbles are located on the inner side of the contact lens), and thus the contact lens is deformed due to dehydration in the exposed part.

[0036] The following embodiments of the disclosed contact lens product are described in order to explain the principles of the application and its practical applicability. It should be understood that various modifications which are specific to the embodiments can be made to the principles of the application and the application can be implemented or realized in other ways without departing from the essential characteristics of the application. The embodiments described below are further explained with reference to the drawings, but the scope of the application is not intended to be limited to these embodiments. The drawings are included to provide a further understanding of the principles of the application and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification. The drawings illustrate embodiments of the application and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles of the application. In the drawings:

[0037] It should be understood that although the terms "first", "second", "third" and the like can be used herein to describe various components, these components should not be limited by these terms. These terms are only used to distinguish one component from another. In addition, the term "or" as used herein should be understood to mean any one of the associated listed items, or a combination of at least two of the listed items.

[0038] Referring to FIGS. 1-8, an embodiment of the present application is shown. As shown in FIGS. 1-5, the embodiment discloses a contact lens product 100, which includes a package 1, a sealing layer 2 fixed to the package 1, a preservation liquid 3 in the package 1, and a contact lens 4 immersed in the preservation liquid 3. The contact lens 4 has an inner surface 41 and an outer surface 42 on opposite sides, and an end edge 43 connected to the inner surface 41 and the outer surface 42. The inner surface 41 is concave and used to contact the eye, and the outer surface 42 is convex.

[0039] It should be noted that when the contact lens product 100 is placed in different positions, the relative positions between the contact lens 4 and other components will also be different. Therefore, for ease of description, the relative positions between the components will be introduced first by setting the contact lens product 100 in a first horizontal position P1 (e.g., FIG. 5).

[0040] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the package 1 is a single-piece plastic structure formed integrally in this embodiment, and the package 1 includes a receiving groove 11 and a hand piece 12 connected to the receiving groove 11. The structure of the hand piece 12 can be adjusted according to actual needs, which is not limited in the present application.

[0041] In the embodiment, the accommodating groove 11 contains the storage solution 3 and the contact lenses 4, and the accommodating groove 11 comprises a ring-shaped side wall 111 and a bottom wall 112. One end of the ring-shaped side wall 111 is connected to the hand-held piece 12 and defines a notch 1114, and the bottom wall 112 is connected to the other end of the ring-shaped side wall 111 and defines a first central axis L1. Preferably, the ring-shaped side wall 111 and the bottom wall 112 are designed in a manner that facilitates the contact lens product 100 to store the contact lenses 4 therein, but the present application is not limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments not shown in the present application, the specific structure of the ring-shaped side wall 111 and / or the bottom wall 112 can be adjusted and changed according to actual needs.

[0042] In the embodiment, the ring-shaped side wall 111 comprises a transverse segment 1111 in the form of a circular ring and a longitudinal segment 1112 connected between the transverse segment 1111 and the bottom wall 112. The outer edge of the transverse segment 1111 is connected to the hand-held piece 12, and the inner edge of the transverse segment 1111 is connected to the longitudinal segment 1112, and preferably an obtuse angle is formed between the transverse segment 1111 and the longitudinal segment 1112. Further, the transverse segment 1111 (on the side away from the bottom wall 112) forms a ring-shaped protrusion 1113, which defines a notch 1114. In addition, the bottom wall 112 is in the form of a circular cone, and the first central axis L1 passes through the apex of the bottom wall 112.

[0043] Further, when the contact lens product 100 is in the first horizontal position P1, the first central axis L1 is perpendicular to a horizontal plane, an angle σ1112 between the longitudinal segment 1112 and the horizontal plane is an angle of tension adjustment between 60 degrees and 90 degrees (for example, the angle of tension adjustment σ1112 is preferably between 70 degrees and 80 degrees), and an angle σ112 between the bottom wall 112 and the horizontal plane is an inclination angle not greater than 20 degrees (for example, the inclination angle σ112 is preferably between 5 degrees and 10 degrees).

[0044] Accordingly, when the contact lens product 100 is in the first horizontal position P1, the structural design of the longitudinal segment 1112 (for example, the specific numerical range of the angle of tension adjustment σ1112) can effectively reduce the surface tension of the liquid surface 31 of the storage solution 3 (for example, reduce the height of the top end 32 of the liquid surface 31 relative to the bottom wall 112), thereby avoiding the top end 32 of the liquid surface 31 from exceeding the notch 1114 and touching the sealing layer 2.

[0045] Further, when the contact lens product 100 is in the first horizontal position P1, the bottom wall 112 can be designed in a conical shape so that the outer surface 42 of the contact lens 4 can be accurately positioned by the bottom wall 112 (e.g., a second central axis L2 defined by the contact lens 4 overlaps the first central axis L1, or the second central axis L2 forms an angle of less than 10 degrees with the first central axis L1 ), but the present application is not limited thereto.

[0046] The sealing layer 2 seals the slot 1114 of the accommodating groove 11, so that the sealing layer 2 and the accommodating groove 11 together form a closed space S, and the contact lens 4 and the preservation liquid 3 are located in the closed space S. In the embodiment, the sealing layer 2 is fixed to the annular protrusion 1113, and the above-mentioned fixing method is preferably achieved by heat melting the annular protrusion 1113, but the present application is not limited thereto.

[0047] As described above, when the contact lens product 100 is in the first horizontal position P1, so that the first central axis L1 is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, the liquid surface 31 of the preservation liquid 3 is curved, the top end 32 does not reach the slot 1114, and a bubble B is formed above the liquid surface 31 of the preservation liquid 3, and the contact lens 4 is completely immersed in the preservation liquid 3 and is not exposed to the bubble B, so as to avoid the contact lens 4 from being dehydrated and deformed.

[0048] Further, in order to make the contact lens product 100 meet the corresponding conditions when it is in the first horizontal position P1, the closed space S must have a volume of 1.4 ml to 2.0 ml, and the volume of the preservation liquid 3 must be 75% to 90% of the volume of the closed space S. That is, any contact lens product whose contact lens 4 is easily partially exposed to air does not meet the above-mentioned conditions of the preservation liquid 3 and the closed space S, and thus is different from the contact lens product 100 disclosed in the embodiment.

[0049] The above describes the components and corresponding conditions when the contact lens product 100 is in the first horizontal position P1, and the following describes the corresponding conditions when the contact lens product 100 is in other positions, but the present application is not limited thereto.

[0050] As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, when the contact lens product 100 is flipped from the first horizontal position PI to an upright position P2 along a rotation direction R (e.g., the counterclockwise direction in FIG. 6) such that the first central axis LI is parallel to the horizontal plane, the distal edge 43 of the contact lens 4 partially abuts the sealing layer 2 adjacent to the slot 1114, and the outer surface 42 of the contact lens 4 abuts the bottom wall 112 and the ring sidewall 111 adjacent to the slot 1114, such that the contact lens 4 is completely immersed in the preservation liquid 3 without being exposed to the air bubble B.

[0051] Further, when the contact lens product 100 is in the upright position P2, the outer surface 42 of the contact lens 4 abuts the junction of the horizontal segment 1111 and the vertical segment 1112 and the bottom wall 112 (e.g., the outer surface 42 of the contact lens 4 is in point contact with the conical bottom wall 112), such that the second central axis L2 and the horizontal plane form an included angle σ of between 15 degrees and 30 degrees, and the contact lens 4 has a height H4 in a direction (e.g., the plumb direction) perpendicular to the horizontal plane of less than 14.0 millimeters (mm), while the liquid surface 31 of the preservation liquid 3 has a height value H3 in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal plane that is less than the diameter D4 of the contact lens 4.

[0052] Further, as shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, when the contact lens product 100 is flipped from the upright position P2 to a second horizontal position P3 along the rotation direction R such that the first central axis LI is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, the second central axis is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, and the distal edge 43 of the contact lens 4 abuts the sealing layer 2, such that the contact lens 4 is completely immersed in the preservation liquid 3 without being exposed to the air bubble B.

[0053] As described above, the contact lens product 100 in the present embodiment is combined with the preservation liquid 3 in the enclosed space S formed by the packaging box 1 and the sealing layer 2, such that the contact lens 4 can meet the corresponding conditions in any one of the first horizontal position PI, the upright position P2, and the second horizontal position P3, thereby achieving complete immersion of the contact lens 4 in the preservation liquid 3 without being exposed to the air bubble B, which effectively prevents the contact lens 4 from dehydrating and deforming.

[0054] It should be noted that the contact lens product 100 is described in the present embodiment in the corresponding conditions thereof in the first horizontal position P1, the upright position P2 and the second horizontal position P3, but the present application is not limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments not shown in the present application, the contact lens product 100 can only meet the corresponding conditions thereof in the first horizontal position P1 or the upright position P2.

[0055] In addition, as shown in FIG. 8, the contact lens products 100 can be stacked with each other by the structural design of the accommodation groove 11 (for example, the longitudinal section 1112 is substantially in the form of a truncated cone), in particular, one contact lens product 100 in the first horizontal position P1 can be reversely stacked on another contact lens product 100 in the second horizontal position P3. In more detail, in the two contact lens products 100 stacked with each other, the longitudinal sections 1112 of the two accommodation grooves 11 are adjacent to or abut against each other, and the bottom wall 112 of one packaging box 1 is abutted against the hand-held piece 12 of the other packaging box 1. Accordingly, the contact lens products 100 can be stacked with each other by the structural design of the accommodation groove 11, so that the space of the contact lens product 100 is maximally utilized.

[0056] [Technical effects of the embodiments of the present application]

[0057] In summary, the contact lens product disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is matched with the preservation liquid (for example, the volume of the preservation liquid should be 75% to 90% of the volume of the closed space) by the closed space formed by the packaging box and the sealing layer, so that the contact lens can meet the corresponding conditions in any one of the first horizontal position, the upright position and the second horizontal position, thereby realizing that the contact lens is completely immersed in the preservation liquid and is not exposed to the air bubbles, so as to effectively avoid the contact lens from being deformed due to dehydration.

[0058] The above disclosed content is only the preferred feasible embodiments of the present application, and is not limited to the patent scope of the present application, so that any equivalent technical changes made by applying the content of the present application specification and drawings are included in the patent scope of the present application.
