Abstract

The present application discloses a volume control method and apparatus based on gesture recognition, an electronic device, a medium, and a vehicle. The method comprises: in response to an operation of a user of enabling a volume control function of in-vehicle infotainment, collecting a real-time captured image of a target area; performing gesture action recognition on the real-time captured image to obtain a gesture action image; performing key point detection on the gesture action image to determine key point information corresponding to a plurality of gesture key points; determining a corresponding gesture key point distance on the basis of the key point information; acquiring a volume conversion relationship; and converting the gesture key point distance into a target volume on the basis of the volume conversion relationship, and performing volume control on the basis of the target volume. The present application can control the volume by means of gesture recognition, achieve convenience and efficiency, improve the volume control efficiency, realize intelligent volume control, and reduce distraction of drivers during driving, thereby improving driving safety. The present application is widely applied to the technical field of intelligent control of in-vehicle infotainment.
