Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of general-purpose storage, and specifically to a server. The server comprises: a chassis, which is internally provided with an accommodating cavity; a fixed bracket, which is disposed in the accommodating cavity, wherein a plurality of hard disk drive connectors and a plurality of backplane connectors are provided on the fixed bracket, each of the backplane connectors is simultaneously connected to all the hard disk drive connectors by means of communication cables, and the hard disk drive connectors are adapted to install hard disk drives; and a plurality of communication backplanes, which are correspondingly mounted on the backplane connectors, wherein each of the communication backplanes is adapted to install a motherboard and is in communication connection with the motherboard, so that all motherboards can simultaneously access each of the hard disk drives. In the embodiments of the present application, the communication cables are used to perform communication, and the communication cables can significantly reduce the attenuation intensity of signals, thereby improving the transmission rate of signals. Moreover, all the motherboards can simultaneously access each of the hard disk drives, so that all the hard disk drives can share each of the motherboards, thereby improving the working efficiency of the server.
