Abstract

A liquid delivery system comprises a first section 202 connected to a second section 204 by a first fast locking coupling 260 and a third section 206 connected to the second section by a second fast locking coupling 230. The first, second and third sections are mutually separable to permit a thorough cleaning of the system. The third section comprises a rotary drive means 210 and an indirect coupling for a drive shaft. The second section comprises a reservoir 248 for liquid to be pumped, and a driveshaft passing between the third section and the first section. The first section comprises a gear block, a drive gear and a driven gear located within the gear block, the drive gear coupled to the driveshaft, the first section further comprising, a pump inlet 298 and pump outlet 296.
