Abstract

Provided is a light-weight base plate that is used as a ground of a substrate. This base plate is used as a ground by being superimposed on a substrate and includes: a sheet metal provided on the substrate and having an opening part provided along an outer shape in a plan view of an electronic component at a position that faces the electronic component protruding from the substrate toward the base plate; one or more frame bodies having a predetermined thickness and having an opening having the same shape as the opening part facing the opening part; and a bottom part covering an opening provided to the frame body. The base plate is formed by superimposing the sheet metal, the one or more frame bodies, and the bottom part in the stated order.
