Lock arrangement and method of assembly therefor

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a lock arrangement and a method of assembling therefor. The lock arrangement includes a lock body providing a locking mechanism. The lock body is configured to attach to an interior side of a door. The lock arrangement further includes a rose assembly configured to attach to an exterior side of the door. The rose assembly extends through a central bore extending through the door to be operatively connected to the locking mechanism. The lock arrangement further includes a rose mounting plate configured to attach to the interior side of the door. Herein, the rose mounting plate is configured to provide a tight tolerance fit within an inner cavity of the lock body from all peripheral sides, to allow for coaxial alignment between the lock body and the rose assembly when assembled.
