Abstract
The present invention discloses a system and method for adapting the visual and other data information that is delivered to the operator of a remotely piloted aircraft, placing him at the same moment that the aircraft (1) is. In other words, bringing the future image of the aircraft's position compensates the overall delay and allows the pilot to have a proper command the aircraft, thus reducing the chance to occur the PIO phenomenon, considering that his / her commands will be well synchronized with the aircraft response. The compensation of the delays in the transmission of data is done by advancing the image of this immersive environment that is obtained by a filming equipment composed preferably of stereoscopic cameras (2), bringing the appropriate perspective of the scenario for the operator, based on the speed practiced by the aircraft (1) multiplied by the total delay time, then defining the displacement that will be taken as the basis for the "advancement" (space x time) in perspective.
