Abstract

A valve implant may have a tubular body configured to be implanted in a blood flow structure, the tubular body defining a lumen. A leaflet(s) is(are) connected to the tubular body within the lumen, the at least one leaflet being deformable from a blocking position to an open position, as a response to a blood pressure rise upstream of the at least one leaflet which allows blood flow through the lumen, the at least one leaflet moving to the blocking position upon a rise of blood pressure downstream the at least one leaflet.
