Abstract

An aluminum alloy and a preparation method therefor. On the basis of the aluminum alloy being 100%, the aluminum alloy comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 8.5-10.5% of Si, 0-0.65% of Fe, 0-0.3% of Cu, 0-0.25% of Mn, 1.0-1.5% of Mg, 0-0.3% of Zn, 0-0.05% of Pb, 0-0.03% of Ti, 0-0.045% of Sr, 0.001-0.04% of Ce, and the balance of Al and other elements, wherein the total content of the other elements is smaller than 0.1%. The aluminum alloy has good mechanical properties, heat-conducting properties, corrosion resistance and castability.
