Abstract

The present invention relates to a Doppler centroid estimation method for two-dimensional sea surface current field SAR inversion, comprising: performing blocking processing on SAR single-look complex image data; using an amplitude-based method to obtain a Doppler centroid estimated value; using a phase-based method to obtain a Doppler centroid estimated value; screening out the Doppler centroid estimated value corresponding to optimal imaging quality as an initial estimation result; performing iterative operation on the initial estimation result; completing radial sea surface current SAR inversion; and implementing real-time two-dimensional sea surface current vector inversion on the basis of a radial sea surface current SAR inversion result. The present invention has the beneficial effects that the present invention can improve the imaging quality and accuracy of Doppler centroid estimation results, effectively complements existing Doppler centroid estimation methods in sea surface current SAR inversion, and can improve the accuracy of sea surface current SAR inversion.
