Abstract
The invention relates to a metal reinforcing element covered with a layer of adhesive composition, said layer covering at least part of the reinforcing element, characterised in that the adhesive composition comprises at least: - a compound having at least two epoxy functions; - a phenol comprising one or more aromatic rings, provided that: in the case of a single aromatic ring, the latter bears at least three hydroxyl functions; or in the case of a plurality of aromatic rings, at least two of them bear at least three hydroxyl functions each, provided that at least one ortho position of at least one of the hydroxyl functions is unsubstituted; and - a compound comprising at least one double bond that can have a linear, branched and / or crosslinked macrostructure which can be organised into a structure of the "core shell rubber", micelle or particle type.
