Abstract

A quantum key distribution stabilization device and method capable of saving space and manufacturing costs are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present embodiment, a technology is provided, the technology having a receiving device that comprises: a first asymmetric interferometer, which allows division into two optical paths, and then provides interference; and a second asymmetric interferometer which receives a single photon, divides same into at least two optical paths, and then provides interference, and which has a preset phase difference with the first asymmetric interferometer. In addition, the present embodiment provides the device and the method for stabilizing an optical system of a quantum key distribution system, which can be miniaturized by adopting a single-process quantum photonic integrated circuit chip based on a passive element and, simultaneously, has low insertion loss and no phase-dependent loss.
