Abstract

A flexible thermoplastic conveyor belt constructed of one or more belt segments having sinuous segmented sidewalls. The one or more belt segments are joined end to end at one or more joints. The sidewalls are attached to the conveyor belt by bonding along a portion of their lengths. Unbonded ends of the segmented sidewalls at the joints meet to form a continuous sidewall along the length of the belt that can bend around sprockets without undue tension in the sidewall at the joints.
