New crystal form of resmetirom and preparation method therefor

Abstract

Provided in the present invention is a new crystal form of resmetirom, i.e., crystal form APTI-I, which has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern comprising characteristic peaks at 5.0°±0.2°, 6.3°±0.2°, 7.8°±0.2°, 12.2°±0.2°, and 20.0°±0.2° 2θ, as determined by using Cu-Kα radiation. The crystal form is easy to prepare, has high purity and good stability, has good solubility in buffers of different pH and deionized water solvents, and is applicable to industrial scaled-up production and preparation of pharmaceutical preparations.
