Method for establishing data transmission channel and related device

Abstract

A method for establishing a data transmission channel and a related device, relating to the technical field of wireless communications. The method comprises: sending a first data transmission negotiation request message to an access network device, wherein the first data transmission negotiation request message is used for requesting negotiation with the access network device regarding the process of establishing a data transmission channel; receiving a first data transmission negotiation response message returned by the access network device, wherein the first data transmission negotiation response message carries a data transmission protocol that is supported by the access network device and satisfies the requirement of a data service to be transmitted, and identifiers of determined target data transmission protocol and path; and on the basis of the target data transmission protocol and path or the identifiers of the target data transmission protocol and path, establishing a data transmission channel between a core network element and the access network device. The method allows for autonomous negotiation between an access network and a core network and establishment of a data transmission channel satisfying the data transmission requirements of both networks, thereby improving the flexibly and efficiency of data transmission.
