Abstract

Provided are a simple method for producing calcite-type monodisperse spherical calcium carbonate particles and calcite-type monodisperse spherical calcium carbonate particles.　Specifically, provided is a method for producing calcite-type monodisperse spherical calcium carbonate particles, the method comprising: a step for mixing a calcium ion-containing solution containing a polycarboxylic acid amine with a carbonate ion-containing substance and a pH adjuster containing a base to obtain amorphous calcium carbonate particles; and a step for heating the amorphous calcium carbonate particles.
