[0002] Vanin-1 protein in urine (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as "Vanin-1") is a renal function marker that has been reported to increase in cisplatin-induced kidney damage (Non-Patent Literature 1) and in patients with decreased renal function due to hypertension (Non-Patent Literature 2).
