Abstract

The present invention relates to a PVT building that integrates solar energy and wind energy, a method for installing photovoltaic-thermal panels with wind turbines in a single structure and the use of the structure as a building. The method will help solve three key problems relating to solar power: firstly, the large space occupied by solar power plants; secondly, the lack of electricity production by the plant at night; and thirdly, the high cost of installing the solar power plant and the rise in same over time. The idea is that these three key problems can be solved by means of the invention by building a pyramidal solar power plant, installing solar cells on only three sides, east, west and either south or north, depending on which hemisphere of Earth the pyramid is located in, and then installing a horizontal wind turbine without needing a support column for the wind turbine, as shown in figure 1. The plant can also be operated as an advertising board with laser projection at night.
