Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for the energy cell manufacturing industry for forming a stack (2) comprising a plurality of segments (3) and a material web (4), wherein the apparatus (1) is designed to fold the material web (4) in a zigzag manner and to deposit the segments (3) onto the material web (4) such that, in the stack (2), the segments (3) are arranged in the folds (5) of the material web (4), wherein the apparatus (1) comprises the following components: a stacking table (6) on which the stack (2) is formed; a material-web feed device (10) which is designed to convey the material web (4) to the stacking table (6); and a first and / or a second segment-feed device (11, 12), each of which is designed to convey segments (3) to the stacking table (6), wherein the first and / or the second segment-feed device (11, 12) each comprise at least one rotating body (21, 22) which is mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation and which is designed to convey segments (3) by a rotational movement, wherein the apparatus (1) comprises a first conveying path for a first continuous segment web (8), which extends from a material-supply unit for the first continuous segment web (8) up to a position in front of the first segment-feed device (11, 12), and wherein one, two, three or more suction rollers (52, 52a, 52b, 52c, 63, 64) are arranged in the first conveying path.
