Abstract
The invention is in the field of processing of spectroscopic data. The invention relates to method for analyzing an object comprising: a. triggering a spectrometer to measure an object and thereby obtain spectroscopic data, b. in response to triggering the spectrometer receiving spectroscopic data from the spectrometer, c. receiving an object identifier associated with the object, d. sending the spectroscopic data and the object identifier to a server, wherein the server is configured to retrieve previous measurement data associated with the object by using the object identifier and to determine chemometric data from the spectroscopic data and the previous measurement data by executing a chemometric model, and e. receiving chemometric data from the server.
