Collision avoidance system and collision avoidance method for electric pallet truck

Abstract

A collision avoidance system and collision avoidance method for an electric pallet truck. The collision avoidance system comprises a sensor, which is mounted on an electric pallet truck and can detect a collision or approach of the electric pallet truck with or to an obstacle. The collision avoidance system further comprises a controller, which is in communication connection to the sensor so as to receive a collision or approach signal detected by the sensor. The controller comprises a safety module, which can generate, on the basis of the collision or approach signal, a control instruction for controlling the electric pallet truck to stop moving or to move in a direction away from the obstacle. The collision avoidance system and collision avoidance method for an electric pallet truck provided in the present application can effectively avoid collisions or reduce collision severity, thereby improving the operation safety of electric pallet trucks.
