Abstract

A communication method and an apparatus, relating to the technical field of communications. The process of a first node negotiating with a second node about a first analytical algorithm can be performed after a pairing procedure, that is, the negotiation process of the first analytical algorithm can be independent of the pairing process, thereby improving the flexibility of the means for determining the first analytical algorithm. The method comprises: after being paired with a first node, a second node can determine a first analytical algorithm on the basis of first indication information, and send second indication information to the first node, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating an algorithm supported by the first node, the first analytical algorithm is used for analyzing an analyzable random identifier, and the second indication information is used for indicating the first analytical algorithm.
