Abstract

An apparatus includes circuitry configured to: receive signaling comprising a scheduling of a downlink grant for a hybrid automatic repeat request process; wherein the signaling indicates an index of a time domain resource allocation table; wherein the index of the time domain resource allocation table indicates a range or value of a scaled repetition count; receive, from the network via radio resource control signaling, a configuration comprising thresholds, and expect the network to scale downlink repetitions to the scaled repetition count indicated by the index of the time domain resource allocation table when at least one threshold of the thresholds received from the network is equal to or exceeded by at least one metric or value, or the at least one threshold of the thresholds received from the network is greater than the at least one metric or value; and receive, from the network, the downlink repetitions.
