Abstract

The invention relates to a stator segment (2), in particular a linear stator segment, comprising a protective cover (1) containing at least one fastening element (13). The protective cover (1) can be releasably connected to the stator segment using said fastening element (13). A protective cover (1) of this type has a cover surface with bent-up edges (10). Said bent-up edges are designed such that they laterally partially cover a stator segment (2) according to the invention, in particular a linear stator element, and produce a form-fitting, releasable connection. Furthermore, a transfer section comprises multiple stator segments (2) according to the invention.
