Abstract

The present disclosure describes a method for preparing a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) extrudate comprising recycled PVC, wherein internally plasticized PVC is mixed with a stabilizer and recycled PVC, followed by extrusion thereby obtaining a PVC extrudate comprising recycled PVC. Further provided is a method for producing a PVC product, and a PVC extrudate and PVC product obtained by any of the methods of the disclosure. Also the use of the PVC extrudate comprising recycled PVC as a PVC sheet material, for example a flooring material, a wall covering, a ceiling covering or a tarpaulin, is provided.
