Abstract

A system according to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a processor; and a memory coupled with the processor and storing data thereon that, when executed by the processor, enable the processor to: receive image data depicting an anatomy of a patient; determine, based on the image data and a surgical plan, a portion of the anatomy of the patient to receive radiation exposure from a radiation source; determine, based on the image data, that a distance between the portion and the radiation source is less than or equal to a threshold value; and take an action in response to determining that the distance is less than or equal to the threshold value.
