Method and apparatus for signal transmission

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for signal transmission. The method includes determining a position sequence based on a first sequence set; and transmitting or receiving reference signals based on the position sequence. The position sequence is used to determine frequency positions of the reference signals; the first sequence set is determined based on at least one difference set; the first sequence set comprises a plurality of sequences, and arbitrary two sequences among the plurality of sequences have no common elements. Since no common elements exist in arbitrary two sequences among the plurality of sequences, the frequency positions of the reference signals corresponding to multiple different first devices are different. As a result, it may be possible to reduce mutual coherence of the frequency positions of the transmitted reference signals corresponding to multiple different first devices.
